Grades 4th to 8th who will be playing in the MYLA travel league, once you sign up for HFG-FH, per MYLA league rules you may not sign up for another MYLA program. What this means is that if you sign up for HFG-FH and want to make an "b" team and make the "c" team, you are not permitted to sign up for another local MYLA program and try to make their "b" or "a" team. If you sign up for more than one MYLA program at the same time, you will be ineligible for the season. This is a MYLA rule, not a HFG-FH rule. This is not a new rule, just something that you should be aware of. You can not "shop" from program to program like you might be able to in other sports or even the club level. MYLA has different skill levels "a", "b" and "c" … your daughter will be playing against kids of grade, age and similar talent.
First time players are still encouraged and welcomed!
- Clinic – $75 - ages Pre K and K – starts in early April – practice 1 x per week on Saturday – instructional only no games. 7 sessions.
- Pixie – $125 - age 1st grade – starts in March – practice 1 x per week and play modified games 1 x per week on Friday nights – Plays in Harford County League. Uniform provided with registration.
- Tyker – $160 - age 7-8 born typically 2nd and 3rd grades – starts March 1st – practice 1-2 times per week and plays in Harford County League – most games are Saturday morning with some games during the week. We also offer a travel team at this age group. Tryout is required. Additional fees required for participation in the Tyker Travel Team to cover additional Travel League and tournaments. Uniform provided with registration.
- Lightning – $160 – 4th and 5th grades – Starts around Feb/March - practice 2-3 times per week – plays in MYLA Travel League – teams are formed based on evaluations / tryouts – teams are grouped by level-teams sized are limited to 18 to 20 players – team sizes are limited to the number of coaches available. Uniform provided with registration.
- Midget – $160 - age 11-12 typically 6th and 7th grades – Starts around Feb/March - ls – practice 2-3 times per week – plays in MYLA Travel League – teams are formed based on evaluations / tryouts – teams sized are limited to 18 to 20 players – team sizes are limited to the number of coaches available. Uniform is provided with registration.
- Junior – $160 – typically 8th grade– Starts around Feb/March - eligible to participate in Winters Skills and Drills – practice 2-3 times per week - plays in MYLA Travel League – teams are formed based on evaluations / tryouts – teams sized are limited to 18 to 20 players – team sizes are limited to the number of coaches available. Uniform is provided with registration.
Late Registration, if space is available, after January 17th there will require an additional $25 fee.
